Mr. Jason Curtin

Jason Curtin has served as Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Engagement since February 2017, following his appointment as interim vice president in September 2016. He previously held the role of Assistant Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, a position he assumed in 2012. In addition, Curtin serves as Executive Director of the Salisbury University Foundation, Inc., the University’s affiliated 501(c)(3) organization.

A 1998 graduate of the University, Curtin returned to campus in 2004 as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. He later advanced to Director of Development and Deputy Director of the Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. A key contributor to the University’s two most recent comprehensive capital campaigns, Curtin helped lead efforts that generated more than $125 million in cumulative philanthropic support.

Curtin provides leadership for Advancement and Alumni Engagement, overseeing alumni relations, development, advancement services, leadership giving, donor relations, and stewardship. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet and serves on numerous campus committees, including the Town‑Gown Council, Arboretum Board, and Safety Task Force. He has also served as co‑course director for the Acadia New Student Experience Outdoor Program and as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Communication.

Actively engaged in the community, Curtin is a past two‑term president of the Salisbury Optimist Club and currently serves as its treasurer.
