All SIHs are located in our residence halls with access to:

Environment and Sustainability SIH
Freshmen only

Students of any major can join this eco-friendly SIH where we are interested in all aspects of the environment, including climate, justice and sustainability. Students spend time exploring the Delmarva Peninsula, going on outdoor adventures, volunteering at events for local environmental organizations and meeting area environmental experts.

Esports SIH
Freshmen only

Our Esports residential community is a great way for gamers of all platforms and experience levels to meet new friends who are interested in gaming, esports and more! Our Esports community offers access to the gaming lounge and membership in the Esports club. Esports SIH students will enjoy organized esports events and tournaments as well as be able to help design programs throughout the year! Students in this community will be placed in the same building in order to provide easier access to those with a gaming background or interest in mind.

IMPACT SIH

Welcome to the IMPACT community, a special interest housing group designed for new college students and transfer students at Salisbury University who are passionate about multicultural, faith-based, LGBTQ+, and identity-based concepts. This community offers a supportive, dynamic, and inclusive space where students can explore their identities, build meaningful connections, and develop leadership skills that will serve them both personally and professionally.

Whether you are looking for a space to connect with peers who share your interests or seeking to broaden your understanding of diverse perspectives, this housing group is designed to empower students through advocacy, leadership, and community building. Honors Living Learning Community

Members of the Clarke Honors College may preference the Honors LLC (shared living and classes); however, it should be noted that admission into the CHC does not indicate acceptance into the Honors LLC. Space is limited. For more information, visit salisbury.edu/honors.

Marching Band SIH

Our dedicated housing community for º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù marching band members is the perfect way to stay connected with classmates both on and off the field. You’ll live alongside peers who share your rehearsal and game-day schedule, making it easier to balance your band schedule and academics. With soundproof practice rooms available right in your residence, you’ll have the space to improve as a musician right in your living space. Living with other band members will help you succeed not just in performances, but also in the classroom and across campus life

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) SIH

Students in this SIH are pursuing exciting careers, from artificial intelligence to chemical engineering. Discover all the various science and technology-related opportunities at º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù while enjoying fun social activities and a visit to NASA Wallops Island.

Sea Gull Circle SIH

Find your flock right where you live! The Sea Gull Circle special interest housing is designed to help first-year students build a strong sense of belonging while benefiting from the power of peer mentoring.

As a member of Sea Gull Circle you’ll live alongside fellow mentees, forming friendships and supporting each other as you navigate your first year. You’ll enjoy exclusive community-building events and activities that help you connect with campus resources, discover Salisbury University traditions, and feel at home from day one. Through informal conversations, fun events, and mentor-led workshops, you’ll develop friendships, gain insider knowledge of campus life, and strengthen the skills you need for academic and personal success.

Transfer SIH

Transferring to another University often times can be challenging as students transition to a new environment away from home while adjusting to the academic and social experiences associated with a new campus. Those living in this community will have the opportunity to make connections with others adjusting to º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù. Programming during the first semester will have a community development and transition resource focus which is critical for success.

TRIO Scholars
Freshmen only

Designed to support first-generation and Pell-Grant recipients on their journey to academic success and graduation, this community fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially and personally. With a range of resources such as peer mentoring, personalized advising and academic development, we ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed. Join us in this dynamic, close-knit living space, where we celebrate individuality and empower each scholar to reach their fullest potential.

Visual Arts SIH
Freshmen only

Because artists know that real learning happens between the lines, this community of art majors and minors allows you to develop your passion beyond the classroom with trips to big city museums, personal interaction with visiting artists, and studio space dedicated solely to this group.
